Training sessions on livestock management were conducted for support groups.
Climate-Smart Agriculture: Promoted drought-resistant crops like finger millet, green grams, and pigeon peas in regions affected by erratic rainfall. Supported tree planting initiatives with indigenous species and fast-growing varieties like mrabai. Trained farmers on water harvesting techniques and conservation farming.
Mentorship Programs for Youth: Empowered over 1,000 youth through mentorship programs focusing on leadership, life skills, and career development. Participants reported increased confidence and readiness to contribute to their communities.
Community-Led Hygiene Education: Educated communities on handwashing, safe water storage, and gender-sensitive sanitation facilities. Installed water tanks, boreholes, and rainwater harvesting systems in schools and communities. Achieved an 80% reduction in waterborne diseases in targeted areas.
