Our Economic Empowerment programs include:

  • Provision of micro-grants and startup support for small businesses.
  • Facilitating market linkages for agricultural and artisan products.
  • Training on financial literacy, business planning, and cooperative formation.

Strengthening Livelihoods and Achieving Food Security

SCR Kenya boosts household incomes and food security through vocational training, sustainable farming, and livestock programs that build lasting community resilience.

Our Impact
  • Trained over 500 youth and adults in vocational skills and income-generating activities.
  • Distributed improved Gala goats and Kienyeji poultry to more than 400 households.
  • Supported over 600 households to establish kitchen gardens and achieve better nutrition outcomes.
  • 60% of supported individuals are now self-employed or gainfully employed.
